The Medium Wave Circle is an international club dedicated to enthusiasts of medium wave (AM) and long wave radio. It serves as a community for sharing knowledge, technical expertise, and news related to radio listening, broadcasting, and signal propagation.
The club offers members access to its long-running magazine Medium Wave News, an extensive archive of past issues and articles, and exclusive use of a medium wave optimized KiwiSDR receiver in Scotland. It supports activities such as DXing, equipment building, software use, and propagation study.
Members include radio hobbyists, engineers, and broadcasters from around the world, regardless of experience level. The Circle fosters collaboration through its active mailing list and remote listening facilities.
Though UK based, the club has a global membership and focuses on medium frequency radio interests relevant to radio professionals and serious listeners.
