Description

Lawo VSC is a virtual sound card and audio application for macOS systems. It is designed to convert local computer audio into RAVENNA and AES67 streams, and to receive network audio for local use on the computer.

The documentation describes support for low-latency operation, up to 96 kHz sample rates, and up to 128 audio channels per virtual device in the licensed version. It also notes support for unicast and multicast streaming, PPM level metering, a 1 kHz test tone generator, and pre-listen monitoring.

Lawo VSC is compatible with SMPTE ST2110-30/31, AES67, and RAVENNA, and can be configured for redundant streaming using SMPTE ST2022-7 with two network interfaces. The page also states that the application runs as a service after configuration.

The product supports native integration with Lawo HOME for device listing and stream routing in IP-based media infrastructures. The documentation also distinguishes between a free version with limited functionality and a licensed version with expanded device and channel support.
