Description

Prodys Quantum 3U is a modular IP audio multicodec in a 3U rack format for professional broadcast and commentary applications. It is designed to support multiple simultaneous audio links from a single chassis.

The system can hold up to 14 codec modules and supports up to 28 stereo audio links. It offers analog and digital AES/EBU audio I/O, with optional Dante/AES67 or Ravenna/AES67 modules for uncompressed audio over IP.

The product includes network features such as bonding, diversity transmission, NAT traversal, forward error correction, and automatic jitter buffering. It also supports SIP/SDP/RTP/STUN-based operation and a range of audio compression modes including PCM, MPEG Layer II, AAC, apt-X, G.711, G.722, and OPUS.

Remote management is available through an embedded web interface or the ProdysControlPlus application. The page also notes alarm monitoring, user access control, configuration presets, hot-swappable cards, and redundant power supply options.
